Key Concepts

Tenant

Your organization account. Each tenant has complete data isolation from others. Tenants can be accessed via subdomain (e.g., demo.yourbookingsystem.com).

Site

A physical venue or location with its own schedule and configuration. A tenant can have multiple sites.

Product

A bookable activity or service (e.g., "Laser Tag Session", "Escape Room Experience").

Participant Types

Categories of participants with age restrictions:

  • Adult: Standard adult participants (typically 18+)
  • Child: Minor participants (typically 4-17)
  • Senior: Senior discount eligible (typically 65+)
  • Student: Student discount eligible (typically 16-25)

Participant types are defined by administrators and can have custom pricing.

Resource

An entity that must be allocated for a booking - could be a room, equipment, staff member, or item.

Booking

A reservation made by a customer for a specific product at a specific time.

Waiver

A digital liability release or acknowledgment that participants sign before activities.
